With Grey Sky Consulting, I’ve been working on community and business engagement for Super Connected Cities programmes in Newport and Coventry. We’ve been creating case studies of how businesses use the internet because companies, organisations, and people learn best from their peers, and better still if those peers are local to them. We’ve also been working with internet suppliers and businesses to ensure they are able to provide and source the best possible connectivity.
The take up in the areas we have worked in has been significantly higher than expected in a programme that has proven to be difficult to sell as this article suggests.
